Any day is a good day for a hike at the Pierce Preserve & Trails. This diverse nature preserve offers over 3 miles of unpaved hiking trails through very diverse terrain. There is more than 20-thousand square feet of native wildflowers planted within the prairie areas. In the creek valleys, you can always spot frogs and toads. The prairie lands are alive with butterflies, grasshoppers and dragonflies and native foliage at the Preserve draws a large variety of birds making this a wonderful place to bird watch. So much activity in a quiet place.
