The off-leash Dog Park, located at the Locust Comer Park & Trails, was officially opened on July 4, 2021. It is open to residents, as well as non-residents and features two separate enclosed areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs to enable dogs of similar size to play safely, a water fountain for two-legged and four-legged thirsty visitors, and plenty of shade trees for those hot summer days. And, thanks to our wonderful park supporters, there are benches for anyone needing to rest their weary bones.
