The Locust Comer Nature Area & Trails is easy to find, situated right off Locust Comer Road with a convenient gravel parking lot and located just down the road from the Locust Comer Park. This Nature Area is offers a full nature experience; you can enjoy native flora and fauna in the prairie areas or catch a glimpse of wildlife while hiking in the quiet woods. Or, even find the geocache www.geocaching.com/play/search. The four trails, ranging from grass or stone and wide paths to narrow dense wood paths, offer a wonderful, peaceful and tranquil setting in which to walk. No restroom facilities are available at the Nature Area, but they are available a short drive away at the Locust Comer Park.
The nature area & trails are open every day from dawn until dusk.
