Township Administrator

The Pierce Township Trustees and Fiscal Officer carefully oversee a $14+ million budget with day-to-day operations handled by a Township Administrator.

The duties and responsibilities of the Township Administrator are defined in the Ohio Revised Code section 505.032. Under the direction of the Pierce Township Board of Trustees, the Administrator supervises day to day operations related to personnel and financial matters and assists in “the administration, enforcement and execution of the policies and resolutions of the board.”

Township Administrator

At the July 13th, 2022 meeting of the Trustees, Tim Williams was appointed to the position of Township Administrator following the retirement of Loretta Rokey. Tim has been a City Manager, City Administrator, Finance Director, and Mayoral Aide over his thirty-three year local government career. He has served in both large and small communities and worked closely with elected officials and appointed boards in management, goal setting and the visioning processes. He has extensive experience in governmental accounting and budgeting, economic development, and citizen engagement. He retired after 11 ½ years as City Administrator of Crestview Hills, Kentucky in late 2020. He currently serves as the Senior Advisor for the Kentucky and International City Management Association and is a life member in both the ICMA and Northern Kentucky City/County Management Association.

Tim attended the University of Kentucky as both an undergraduate and graduate student in Economics and Political Science. He speaks regularly to governmental groups and agencies on visioning the future, goal setting and planning, and governmental budgeting.

In his spare time, Tim coaches competitive soccer teams and enjoys golf, biking and hiking. He has been married for thirty-six years and has two adult children and resides in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
