Road Closure – Locust Corner Road

Pursuant to Section 5543.17 of the Ohio Revised Code, I have determined that a road closure is
necessary on Locust Corner Road, as it is impractical to construct a temporary highway, culvert or
bridge. The detour is needed so that Duke Energy’s contractor can complete scheduled utility
upgrades.

The closure is located between address 961 and 1046 Locust Corner Road. The road will be
closed to through traffic from 8AM to 5PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 through Thursday,
November 9, 2023. The length of the detour is approximately 2.97 miles or 15,680 feet.

The Office of the Clermont County Engineer shall notify the Communication Center and other
affected agencie s. All advanced warning and detour signs will be erected and maintained
for this project. The contractor will maintain all detour signs. Attached is the recommended
detour.
