Road closure is necessary on Pond Run Road, as it is impractical to construct a temporary highway, culvert or bridge. The closure is needed so that our contractor can replace a deficient bridge on Pond Run Road.

The closure is located at the intersection of State Route 749 on Pond Run Road. The road will be closed to through traffic on Monday, July 24, 2023, through Friday, December 1, 2023. The length of the detour is approximately 6.67 miles or 35,196 feet.

The Office of the Clermont County Engineer shall notify the Communication Center and other affected agencies. All advanced warning and detour signs will be erected and maintained for this project. The contractor will maintain the detour signs. Attached is the recommended detour.
