Pond Run Road Landslide Repair Detour

Pursuant to Section 5543.17 of the Ohio Revised Code, I have determined that a road closure is necessary on Pond Run Road, as it is impractical to construct a temporary highway, culvert or bridge. The closure is needed so that Pierce Township can repair a landslide along Pond Run Road.

The closure is located between Nelp Road and Pond Run Lane on Pond Run Road. The road will be closed to through traffic on Monday, July 31, 2023 through Friday, August 11, 2023. The length of the detour is approximately 3.28 miles or 19,959 feet.

The Office of the Clermont County Engineer shall notify the Communication Center and other affected agencies. All advanced warning and detour signs will be erected and maintained for this project. Pierce Township will maintain all signage. Attached is the recommended detour.
