Updates on Data Center Regulations

Pierce Township has a moratorium on data centers running through May 31, 2027.

During this time:

• Pierce Township will not issue any developmental approvals for data centers
• Township staff and the Pierce Township Zoning Commission will study and develop regulations for data centers
• Public input will be critical; residents are encouraged to attend upcoming Zoning Commission meetings (posted below) and/or provide feedback to the Director of Economic Development, Christine Celsor
