Planned Trails Will Add Walkability to Pierce Township Neighborhoods

Plans are moving forward for new multi-use trails in the Amelia neighborhood to create more connectivity in the community.

The project includes two trail segments connecting the Sedona Ridge and Glen Mary neighborhoods to the Clermont County Library.

The engineering firm Viox & Viox will begin the design stage of the project in the weeks to come.

Pierce Township successfully secured funding for design and planning through the Appalachian Community Grant Program.

Once the plans are drawn up, the township will work on a plan to fund construction of the trails, which will include significant grant funding.
