Road Closure – Pond Run Road

The start date for this closure has been rescheduled to begin at 6:00 PM on Monday, June
23, 2025, and will remain in effect until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

Pursuant to Section 5543 .17 of the Ohio Revised Code, it has been determined that a
road closure is necessary on Pond Run Road, as it is impractical to construct a temporary
highway, culvert, or bridge. The closure is necessary so that our contractor can perform
repairs on the asphalt and bridge joints.

The closure is located at SR 749 on Pond Run Road. The road will be closed to
through traffic from 6PM on Monday, June 23, 2025, through Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The
length of the detour is approximately 5.15 miles or 27,180 feet.

The Office of the Clermont County Engineer shall notify the Communication Center and
other affected agencies. All advanced warning and detour signs will be erected and maintained
for this project. Our crew will post the advance notice and detour signs. Jurgensen
Construction Company will erect the signs and barricades at the project site . Attached is the
recommended detour.
