Road Closure – Ninemile Tobasco Road

Pursuant to Section 5543.17 of the Ohio Revised Code, I have determined that a road closure is necessary on Ninemile-Tobasco Road, as it is impractical to construct a temporary highway, culvert or bridge. The closure is necessary to allow our contractor to mill, repair and resurface the roadway on Ninemile-Tobasco Road.

The closure is located between US 52 and SR 125 on Ninemile-Tobasco Road. The road will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2025, through Saturday, September 6, 2025. The length of the detour is approximately 9.46 miles or 49,948 feet.

The Office of the Clermont County Engineer shall notify the Communication Center and other affected agencies. All advanced warning and detour signs will be erected and maintained for this project. Our crew will install and maintain all detour signage for the duration of the project. Attached is the recommended detour.

SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION AND EMERGENCY SERVICES WILL NOT BE RESTRICTED DURING THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR WILL ENSURE THAT SCHOOL AND EMERGENCY SERVICES WILL BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH AS NEEDED.
