Officer Mikeal Stephens Joins Pierce Township Police Department

Officer Mikeal Stephens has officially joined the Pierce Township Police Department.

Stephens was sworn in August 23 by the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Allen Freeman.

Before coming to Pierce Township, he spent time with multiple police departments including the Fayetteville Police Department, Ripley Police Department, Higginsport Police Department and the Russellville Police Department.

Most recently, Stephens served as a deputy with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and as a member of the Brown County SWAT team.

Officers Stephens’ first day with the department will be September 1.
