The Pierce Township Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Paul Broxterman was appointed to the position of Pierce Township Police Chief on February 28, 2022. Prior to joining the Pierce Township Police Department, he served for 33 years with the Cincinnati Police Department, where he held the rank of captain for 16 years. During that time, he was the commander of nine different districts/sections/units in their 1000-officer Department. Some of those command assignments included the Police Academy, the Internal Investigations Section, a 170-officer police district, and Deputy SWAT Commander. Chief Broxterman has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s 115th Administrative Officers’ Course. Chief Broxterman has two sons – Andrew and Nicholas. Please join us in welcoming Chief Broxterman to the community.

Chief Broxterman what a GREAT HUMAN BEING.I KNEW BACK IN THE80S PAUL WAS GOING TO BE SOMEONE WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS WORLD AND HE DIDN’T DISAPPOINT.UNFORTUNATELY I TOOK THE WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACK IN MY EARLY LIFE BUT PAUL NEVER JUDGED ME.HE IS A GREAT HUMAN BEING .PIERCE TOWNSHIP YOU INHERITED A GREAT LEADER……GREG CROUSE WESTSIDER.
