The Pierce Township Fire Department responded to multiple calls early this morning from Locust Lake subdivision and other neighborhoods regarding damage from heavy winds and rain. There are no known injuries at this time.
Several neighborhoods suffered damage to homes and other property. Numerous trees and live power lines are down at this time.
Pierce Township, Duke Energy and neighboring jurisdictions are working diligently to get the roads open.
Currently, these roads are closed in Clermont County:
SR 125 at Oak/Chapel to SR 132, Amelia; Jenny Lind at SR 125 to Lyons Rd, Amelia; Locust Corner at Wagner to White Oak, Pierce Township; Locust Lake at Jenny Lind to Lewis, Pierce Township; and Sugar Camp Road, SR131 to US 50, Miami Township.
In addition, the Village of Chilo has reported damage to three mobile homes.
Clermont County and Ohio Emergency Management Agency are assisting.
