The Pierce Township Fire Department-

Although it still says Fire Department over our doors, the Pierce Township Fire Department has grown far beyond the volunteer  fire department established in 1956.

The Pierce Township Police Department-

is loyal to serving the community while protecting the rights of all persons. We are committed to reducing fear by maintaining order and peace. The Pierce Township Police Department is dedicated to community policing, protecting life and property, the enforcement of local, state and federal laws, and to safeguard citizens’ constitutional rights.

The Pierce Township Public Works Department is committed to providing quality maintenance services to township roadways, storm drainage systems, and public park areas to ensure public safety and enhanced quality of life for the community.

The Pierce Township Zoning Department-Property in Pierce is zoned either residential, business, industrial or planned in nature. Each district estiblishes, among other things, disctinct permissible uses, setback requirements, height limitations, and minimum lot sizes.

Pierce Township Development Facilitation-The leadership of Pierce Township recognizes both the challenges and the opportunities that progress presents. In order to help guide land use and economic development in the Township, the Trustees created the “Land Use and Development Facilitation Program.”

The Pierce Township Finance Department-The Fiscal Office is located at 950 Locust Corner Road. The Township Fiscal Officer is a four-year elected position. Karen Register, the present Fiscal Officer, was elected in November 1999 and took office January 18, 2000.
