Trick or Treat hours this year are 6p-8p on Monday, Oct. 31st within Pierce Township. You can visit our new Halloween Safety Guide put together by the Pierce Township Fire Department for the safety and enjoyment of all this Halloween season.

National Night Out
Pierce Township Police Department just celebrated its Annual National Night Out August 4th at Pierce Park. National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and is presented by Pierce Township Police in efforts to join Police and Community together. National Night Out was hosted to heighten awareness and strengthen neighborhood spirit and Police Community relationships. July 4th Event
Our Annual July 4th Children’s Bicycle Parade will be held at Locust Corner Park (961 Locust Corner Rd.) from 10 a.m. – 12 noon.
There will be a Salute to Veterans – Remembrance of Pierce’s SSGT Chuck Kiser
Tony Allesandro witness to WWII surrender on the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay.
Also, there will be Hot Dogs, Cake, Soft Drinks, Face Painting, all free. Come and join in the celebration and bring your kids out on their decorated bikes, strollers, wagons, etc. for the parade. For more information you may contact Pierce Township Administration at 513-752-6273
Easter Egg Hunt
Everyone mark your calendar for Saturday, April 23rd for a morning of fun with the Easter Bunny at the twelfth annual Pierce Township Easter Egg Hunt. The event will take place at the Township Park located at 961 Locust Corner Road. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m., the Bunny will arrive at 10.30 a.m. and the egg hunt will start at 11:00 a.m. [Read more...]
Severe Weather Awareness Week March 20-26
Ohioans Are Encouraged to Prepare for Tornadoes, Floods and Thunderstorms.
The National Weather Service and the American Red Cross, both members of the Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness, as well as, Pierce Township share a common goal of protecting lives through public education. Pierce Township Hires New Public Works Director
In December, 2010, the Pierce Township Board of Trustees hired Luke Mantle as the Township’s new Public Works Director. Mr. Mantle replaces Daryl Berry who recently retired after 30 years of service with the Township. Mr. Mantle brings more than 11 years of public service experience most recently working for the Road and Bridge Department of Summit County Colorado. 4 officers of the Pierce Township Fire Department recently completed the Blue Card Fire Command Training, nationally accredited by The International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC).
