The Police Department would like to thank:

Wal Mart (1815 S.R. 125) for donations of computers, digital cameras and miscellaneous items for 4th of July, National Night Out and Pumpkin Carving Night.  Also provided gift certificates to children for Shop with a Cop in December 2008 benefiting children and their families.

Walmart (Eastgate) for its donations to the K9 program.  
 

Krogers (1783 S.R. 125) for ongoing donations to school projects to help needy families, donation of soft drinks, hot dogs, etc for 4th of July Festival and the donation of gift certificates for the upcoming Daryl and Bonnie Berry Benefit.

Burger King (1188 S.R. 125) Provides coupons for meals for children.  The coupons are distributed by the School Resource Officer for children observed wearing their seat belts and other noteworthy acts.

National Association of Diversion Drug Investigators and Abbot labs, for donation of $25,000.   These monies are used to provide a Pierce Township Police Officer to the Clermont County Narcotics Unit.  This officer, through the generosity of NADDI and Abbot Labs, investigates pharmaceutical diversions in the entire county.

 

The CareSpring HealthCare Management; and Barry Bortz, CEO for their support of the Pierce Township Police Department and the 2008 National Night Out celebration.

 

Locust Run and Locust Hill Home Owner Associations; over the past several years at Christmas time the associations have taken a collection for police officers.  Over the past three years the department has purchased sweaters, MyClyns spray and in 2009, flashlights.  The MyClyns is a handy pocket size disinfectant spray made for immediate use if a police officer comes in contact with bodily fluids from another.  The MyClyns kills HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis C, and many others.  The flashlight is a new rechargeable flashlight that will last up to 6 hours where the old flashlights would only last one hour.

Lor-Mar Tractors (1091 S.R. 125) donated tractor for hay rides for children at the pumpkin carving night.

A&A Safety (1126 Ferris Rd) donating time and equipment to benefit the Pierce Township Police Department.

Motz Family,  Brad and Jennifer for their donation to the K-9 unit.
