K-9 Officer Jay D. Shaw and K-9 Razec

Officer Shaw has been in law enforcement since 1988.  He has been a k-9 handler since 2000.  Officer Shaw and Razec have been partners since 2005.  Razec has the distinction of being the youngest dog ever certified in the State of Ohio, at seven months old.  Razec is also certified in patrol, tracking, criminal apprehension, area and building search, and article search.  Officer Shaw and Razec are also nationally certified.  Razec is Officer Shaw's partner while on duty, and his best friend when off-duty.  Officer Shaw and Razec take pride in keeping drugs off of the streets and out of the schools of Pierce Township.
