911 Fitness Challenge

The 911 Fitness Challenge is a Weight Loss Contest for the Public Safety Workers to LOSE FAT and GAIN MUSCLE as a TEAM. This approach promotes TEAMWORK and Camaraderie. The challenge registration proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. These hospitals provide FREE services to children, including surgeries, therapy and equipment. The hospitals are funded from private donations from corporations and individuals. Children who visit have physical disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy, MS, or have severe burn injuries.
Four members of the Police Department have joined this national competition to achieve better physical fitness and help raise money for The Shriners Hospital.
The police department would like to thank Jeff Storch of Bodyworx 24/7 for his expertise and assistance in participating in this competition. Bodyworx Fitness 24/7 is a full service health club offering a full spectrum of state of the art resistance equipment and cardio equipment fitted with touch screen computers that offer members a variety of entertainment choices such as movies, music, cable TV, and internet radio.
